Have: vehicle year, make and model; whether the doors are also locked or only the boot; whether the rear seats fold down; whether the keys are locked inside the boot itself. Proof of identity and vehicle ownership or written authorisation is required before any key is originated or programmed.

A boot or hatch lockout is its own job because the boot is often the one opening with no external lock at all. Many vehicles removed the external boot cylinder entirely, so access has to come through the cabin, through a fold-down seat, or through the vehicle's own release once the doors are open.

It is offered as mobile service across Hampton Roads, Tidewater, the Peninsula, Western Tidewater, the regional airports and Virginia's Eastern Shore. Whether a specific vehicle is eligible is confirmed before a job is treated as scheduled.

For eligible jobs, mobile service can be coordinated at many accessible locations when the owner or authorized party can approve service and site rules allow access.
