Car Lockout Service

Entry method depends on the vehicle's door construction and lock design. Frameless windows, laminated side glass and deadlocking systems each change the approach. A vehicle that has deadlocked after an alarm event may also need the alarm addressed before the door will open normally.

Have: vehicle year, make and model; exactly where the vehicle is parked; whether a key is inside the vehicle, lost, or in someone else's possession; whether the engine is running or a child or animal is inside — say so immediately when calling. Proof of identity and vehicle ownership or written authorisation is required before any key is originated or programmed.

A lockout is an entry job, not a key job. The objective is to open the vehicle without damaging the door, the weather seal, the glass or the electronics inside the door card, and without leaving the lock or handle mechanism worse than it was found. Modern doors carry side-curtain airbag components and wiring in places older tooling was never designed around.

It is offered as mobile service across Hampton Roads, Tidewater, the Peninsula, Western Tidewater, the regional airports and Virginia's Eastern Shore. Whether a specific vehicle is eligible is confirmed before a job is treated as scheduled.

For eligible jobs, mobile service can be coordinated at many accessible locations when the owner or authorized party can approve service and site rules allow access.
